Born and raised in Maryland, Bailey Hovermale is currently based in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania - a train ride away from New York City.  She received her BA from SUNY Cortland, majoring in Musical Theatre and minoring in Music. Before that, she graduated from Barbara Ingram School for the Arts. In Summer of 2024, she completed the Summer Intensive at the Atlantic Acting School.

 

Most recently, Bailey has performed with Totem Pole Playhouse, Maryland Entertainment Group, and The Cumberland Theatre. As a musician, she's worked as a collaborative pianist for Wilson College's 2023 ArtsFest, and accompanied recitals at Cumberland Valley School of Music. She's also played in the pit at Waynesboro Area Senior High School, and music directed children's productions, most recently at Shippensburg Area Senior High School.

 

Bailey is currently a piano instructor at Cumberland Valley School of Music and a Piano/Theatre Adjunct at Barbara Ingram School for the Arts. She has led workshops, camps and classes through the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts Foundation, Gettysburg Community Theatre, Cumberland Valley School of Music, and Totem Pole Playhouse. She adores working with kids, whether in summer camps or lessons, as well as through Virtual Babysitters' Club, where she was a Virtually Interactive Performer from 2020-2024.
